Open Outlook Express.
Go to Tool>Accounts
Click on the Add button on the right hand side of the popup window and choose Mail.
Give yourself a display name, (ie. John Smith) Click next.
Type in your email address. Click next.
Leave the setting at My incoming server is a POP3 server.
Incoming mail server: mail.yourdomainname.com (for example, if your domain name was www.crossroadschurch.org then your incoming mail server would be mail.crossroadschurch.org)
Outgoing mail server: mail.yourdomainname.com (for example, if your domain name was www.crossroadschurch.org then your outgoing mail server would be mail.crossroadschurch.org)
Click next.
Account Name: Your full email address
Password: Your password for this email address
Click next.
Click finish.
Now it will take you back to the popup window where it lists all your different email accounts. Double click on the new email account you just put into outlook express so that we can see the configuration box.
Under the servers tab, make sure that "my server requires authentication" is checked at the very bottom. You can leave the rest of that page how it is.
Now go to the advanced tab and change the OUTGOING (SMPT) mail port from 25 to 26. Click ok.
Click apply and then click ok.
You should now be able to successfully send and receive email.
