First you need to create categories for the ecards you upload to go into.
Login to the backend control panel at www.yourdomainname.com/administrator.
Go to Components>E-cards>Manage Categories
Click the new button 
at the top right.
Give your category a name and description and click the save button 
at the top right.
You now have an ecard category!
Now you want to upload all the graphics you want to use as ecards.
Go to Components>E-cards>Upload Cards (make sure you hold down the shift button when you click on this so that the popup box will show up.
Navigate to the stories/cards folder and upload your ecard graphics.
Now go to Go to Components>E-cards>E-cards Management
