How do I create a content page that doesn't belong under any certain category?

Sometimes the content page you want to add to your website does not fit under a certain category such as the About Us section or the Ministries section.

To add a new content page that does not belong to a certain category, go to www.yourdomainname.com/administrator/ and login.
From there you will see a control panel screen. This is called the BACKEND Control Panel. You MUST use the Backend control panel to ADD content pages. However, once created, you can EDIT any content pages from the Frontend control panel.

So in the backend control panel that you are now in, go to the top menu and go to CONTENT > STATIC CONTENT MANAGER.

Here you will see a list of all the static content pages on your website (static content page just refers to pages that do not belong under a certain category).
To create a new static content page, click the new icon  new.gif located at the top right of this screen.
Fill the page in with the content you want.

On the right of the screen you will see the properties panel with 4 or 5 tabs. The only one you would ever change sometime is:

- Publishing: Here you can decide when the page is published and who can view the page. You usually do not need to change any of these parameters.
Once done, click the Disk Icon save.gif to save the static content page, located at top right of the screen.

Now that this page is in the system, you can easily link to it from anywhere on your site, as it will show up in the list of links when you are using the link button link.gif in the wysiwyg editor toolbar.
