How do I upload my own video into a page on my website?

Note: This is ONLY if you wish to upload a video to the website directly instead of a service like youtube.com or vimeo. You can only do this if your video is under 25mb.

First make sure your video is either in mp4, wmv, or flv format.

FLV is best since it can be viewed on all computers (mac/pc). If you want to convert your video to flash, use Riva FLV Encoder which can be downloaded at http://www.download.com/Riva-FLV-Encoder/3000-2140_4-10320097.html

Once your file is converted to an flv, if it is over 50mb in size, you will need to upload it to a video service like www.vimeo.com or www.youtube.com and then paste the embed code they give you for that video into the 'source' tab of the wysiwyg editor on your church website for that particular page. If you do not understand what this is, contact our support page.

If it is under 50mb, take the video file (wmv, mp4, or flv) and upload it using the wysiwyg editor. To do this, you simply go to the page on the church website you want the video to be inside of and click the edit button (this assumes you are logged in as at least an editor).

Click the 'insert media' button in the wysiwyg editor toolbar.

Click the upload button. Click the browse button, find the video file and double click on it. Now click the upload button at the bottom right of the 'insert media' popup box.

Now select the file you just uploaded by clicking on it once and highlighting it. Then click the 'insert' button at the bottom right of the 'insert media' popup box.
